The 40 Over Forty Award celebrates the talent and experience of individuals over the age of 40 in the advertising, marketing, and media industries. I am incredibly humbled to sit alongside such an impressive group of individuals that are working tackle ageism.

Voting for the final 40 Over Forty 2022 list is open until September 30, 2022.

Age-based segmentation, like 50+ or 65+, likely had a place in a world where individuals experienced roughly the same life course, which was a reality for most of human history, but it has no place in the Super Age.

The United States is now at record unemployment levels and employers are calling out their youngest employees for “quiet quitting,” a pejorative term for workers setting boundaries.

Is America a gerontocracy? The short answer is no, but it definitely has many of the characteristics. Like all things, there's a lot more nuance to the term than meets the eye, especially in a country that's in transition to the Super Age.
